Grading:
1) Homework takes up 25% of the total grades. We will give six homework assignments, but only the first five will be graded, each worth 5%. The last one will be assigned with an answer key provided directly.
2) We will have two exams that account for 75% of the total grades. In case someone accidentally behaves badly in one exam, the total score of these two exams will be calculated with two kinds of proportions and the larger score will finally be used. These two combinations of proportions are: 35% (midterm) + 40% (final) or 20% (midterm) + 55% (final).
